Get ready to dance, drink, and crash
the wildest wedding of all time!

UPSCALE DANCE PARTY + IMMERSIVE THEATRE +
COCKTAILS & WEDDING FARE
Set against the backdrop of the iconic wedding venue, Margaret Place Hotel, The Wedding Party offers locals and tourists alike a one-of-a-kind New Orleans experience through the lens of a high energy dance party with all the trappings of a wedding reception...minus the wedding.

Audiences crash this ill-fated reception, learning about the absent couple through a series of theatrical vignettes performed throughout the evening by a company of professional actors and improvisers.

A runaway bride, a bitter ex, an over-served bridal party, and rowdy groomsmen...the reception goes off the rails as the event climaxes with a New Orleans second line!
Throughout the night, guests will enjoy a live wedding DJ spinning all the wedding reception standards, a cash bar featuring high-end cocktails, wedding cake, gourmet hors d'oeuvres by New Orleans chefs, and more!

MARGARET PLACE HOTEL
Margaret Place is a five-room adult-only ultra-boutique hotel that merges futuristic amenities with historic architecture. The historic 1854 greek revival home on Margaret Place Park has operated as lodging since 1862. It was painstakingly renovated to National Park Service Standards from 2015 to 2020 to provide unmatched comfort while maintaining the authentic historic features.
The location, at the convergence of the Lower Garden District, Central City, and Downtown offers a uniquely varied and full experience of the city within walking distance. The French Quarter and Bourbon Street are only twelve blocks away, the WWII, CAC, and Ogden Museums are two blocks away, and the St. Charles Avenue parade route and streetcar line is less than a block away.

A portion of The Wedding Party's ticket sales will be donated to the Louisiana Hospitality Foundation.

"Founded in 2006 by David Blitch, Tony Abadie, and a select group of hospitality industry leaders, the Foundation is dedicated to supporting Louisiana’s hospitality industry workforce. Our community impact is delivered through two programs: education grants and hospitality industry worker crisis grants. Help us help others working in one of the state’s largest and most important industries."
